New research has commenced on the role of Ukrainian startups and the business ecosystem in Ukraine’s recovery, conducted by the Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge in partnership with the Warsaw Stock Exchange and the Ukrainian Startup Fund (USF).
The authors aim to identify the existing solutions provided by Ukrainian startups for the reconstruction and transformation of Ukraine in various sectors (infrastructure, healthcare, education, trade, etc.). They also seek to explore the current needs of local authorities, organizations, institutions, and agencies engaged in the development and rebuilding of Ukraine’s regions. The gathered data will help create products tailored to Ukrainian needs and beneficial for the country.
Currently, two categories are being surveyed:
- Startups: To investigate their solutions for reconstruction, their developmental stage, and the assistance they require.
- Institutions (organizations or establishments) involved in Ukraine’s development and rebuilding (e.g., regional development agencies, local government bodies, etc.): To determine their current needs, challenges, and plans.
Links to the questionnaires can be found below. Filling out the survey will take up to 5 minutes.

The survey results will be compiled into a report, and its presentation is scheduled for the end of October to the beginning of November 2023 in Warsaw and Kyiv.
This is already the third time that the team from PUSB, the Ukrainian Startup Fund, and the Warsaw Stock Exchange are conducting research on the Ukrainian startup ecosystem. Previous reports can be viewed in the „report” section on the Polish-Ukrainian Startup Bridge website.
The research is supported by Techosystem, Sigma Software Labs, and Simpact Ventures.
The research team would greatly appreciate the survey being shared!
