MeetUp in Zhytomyr

We held our 5th regional meetup on May 17, 2019 in Zhytomyr in cooperation with the Zhytomyr Polytechnic and Zhytomyr Regional Development Agency. Our main goal was to promote, encourage and facilitate the business relations between the investors, mentors, accelerators and startups, across the Polish-Ukrainian border. Participants could learn about the startup support initiatives both in Ukraine and Poland in order to implement their ideas and build a full-scale business.

After the pre-acceleration sessions, 5 startups were qualified for the final on the PUSB meetup stage:

Beeworker – a platform for finding part-time jobs in certain locations,
FPI – a module that allows for three-level person identification,
Height TX1 – iPhone case with heating system,
BookSnack – project, which optimizes your time,
AR City – virtualization of the city based on the use of augmented reality.

The BeeWorker project won the competition.

The event was attended by a representative of the VC Fund from the Bridge Alfa program: Simpact VC venture capital fund in Poland.
