Innovation Festival | MeetUp in Kyiv

The Innovation Festival took place on May 16, 2019.

Polish – Ukrainian Startup Bridge has become a partner of the IV Innovation Festival organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. In the framework of this event, our fourth regional meetup in Kyiv took place. It was targeted at raising the All Ukrainian Festival to the international level by means of attracting Polish investors, mentors, and professionals in the field of innovative technology and business.

The All-Ukrainian Innovation Festival took place in Kyiv on May 16, 2019 with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Hrynevych. The 4th edition of the event gathered 250 applications submitted by 75 educational institutions, including 61 universities, 30 scientific institutions, and 12 enterprises.

Ukrainian inventors and innovators presented their latest developments in the fields of IT, medicine, ecology, and others.

The finalists of the IT_Eureka competition:

  • 1st place – Lingart – future books. A platform for multilingual interactive audiobooks.
  • 2nd place – New Vision. It is a subscription service “Vision Zone” which includes equipment installation at a customer`s office, supplying vision care materials and delivering lectures from the partners as well as engaging customer’s employees into a vision training competition through the app.
  • 3rd place – HomeMappy. An application, which with the help of a real-time camera is able to recognize the requested object and safely direct it to the objects’ location, using voice accompaniment.
