Bazalt Innovation
Production of a new class of composite material – bazalt contiuous fiber (BCF). New technology enable creating bazalt fiber cheaper and it increases its performance. Articles and materials made form BCF have the following features:
• High chemical and thermo resistance (single exposure 1000°С)
• High strength (1,5 times stronger than fiberglass, 2,5 times stronger than alloy steel)
• Light weight (5-7 times lighter then metal)
• Cheap (10 times lower cost than carbon fiber)
• Reinforcement of construction materials up to 20-30%
• No corrosion, non-flammable, explosion safety, radio transparency
• Environmental friendliness
Bazalt fiber is used in the construction of the important industrial facilities that are fire and explosion hazardous, including chemical and petrochemical productions, nuclear generating plants, high-rise buildings, shipbuilding, car-building, vehicle manufacturing and aircraft industries.
